FAQs – Answers

for Stadium Entry through
the Gov.gr Wallet

Ticket verification entails matching a unique ticket code with an individual. To ensure the validity of the verification process, it will be conducted via the Gov.gr Wallet application, allowing for the automatic retrieval of the individual’s real details.

Ticket verification is done through the Gov.gr Wallet following user authentication using the General Secretariat of Information Systems and Digital Governance credentials (TaxisNet codes). Registering your details in the National Registry of Communication (NRC – emep.gov.gr) is a prerequisite for completing the ticket issuance process.

You may purchase a ticket in the same manner as before. The purchase is made through the ticketing service provider contracted by the sports club, the Department of Professional Athletes, or the Sports Corporation.

The purchased ticket features a QR Code, which is not the one used for stadium entry. Upon accessing the Gov.gr Wallet and authenticating with TaxisNet credentials, the ticket is verified, and a QR Code or Barcode for stadium entry is displayed.

After purchasing a ticket through a ticketing service provider, open the Gov.gr wallet app, select ‘Add new ticket’, and enter the unique ticket code sent by the provider. You will then need to confirm using the stored biometric data or the pin set in the Gov.gr Wallet app, completing the ticket verification and its storage in the app.

Yes, they can. Purchase the ticket from the ticketing service provider as usual, and through the Gov.gr Wallet app, the custodian verifies the ticket and stores it in the app. If another adult accompanies the minor, the custodian specifies the accompanying adult’s tax identification number during ticket verification, provided the adult companion has already verified their own ticket.

Entry to sports facilities at this stage does not require an NFC-enabled mobile, as the ticket will be stored as a barcode (QR code/barcode). NFC technology for ticket verification by foreigners and permanent residents abroad will be implemented in the future. NFC-capable devices are necessary for passport scanning during verification.

The custodian declares your tax identification number, provided you have already verified your own ticket. Upon sending a notification and accepting the accompaniment declaration through the Gov.gr wallet app, you can store the verified ticket for the minor in the app.

Yes, provided your minor child has turned 15 and possesses personal TaxisNet credentials, and their mobile phone is registered in the NRC – emep.gov.gr.

No, it is not possible to change the ticket holder from the Gov.gr wallet. This process must be done through the ticketing service provider.

If the issuing provider cancels a verified ticket, it is automatically cancelled in the Gov.gr wallet app as well. In case of a companion’s ticket cancellation, the accompaniment declaration for accompanying minors is also automatically revoked.

Entry to the stadium requires ticket verification through the Gov.gr wallet app. For acquisition instructions, refer to the detailed guide at https://wallet.gov.gr/

If you are a permanent resident abroad with a third-country passport, you can verify your ticket through the Gov.gr wallet app as a visitor. You will need the ticket code and passport, which the app must scan using the NFC chip.

If you encounter any issues during ticket verification, you can visit the special offices within the stadiums, which will verify your ticket in person and activate it in the Gov.gr wallet app.

With immediate effect, season tickets will be entered into the Gov.gr wallet app, where they will be verified once and valid for the matches specified by the Football Corporation.

The National Registry of Communication (NRC – emep.gov.gr) is the information system managing the central database of unique registration of communication details for all individuals assigned a Tax Identification Number (TIN).

In the NRC, you can register your contact details:

  1. a) Mobile phone number
  2. b) Email address
  3. c) Landline phone number
  4. d) Full residential postal address
  5. e) Full contact address (if different from the residential address).

Individuals assigned a Tax Identification Number (ΑΦΜ) can register their contact details in the NRC.

One individual can only declare Each mobile phone number in the NRC.

Initial registration is done through the “Declaration-Confirmation of Mobile Phone Number” option. You will receive a one-time password (OTP) via SMS, which you enter to verify your mobile phone number ownership. Subsequently, confirmation (cross-check) of ownership is done by a banking institution where you are an e-banking user or a mobile telephony service provider.

If the mobile phone number is not confirmed by either a banking institution or a mobile telephony service provider, you can visit a Citizen Service Center (CSC) or a paid consular authority to declare your contact details.

Minors turning 15 can register their contact details in the NRC, provided they have a Tax Identification Number (ΑΦΜ).

For access to high-security digital services, the confirmed mobile phone declared in the NRC is used in combination with TAXISnet codes as a second authentication factor.

The declaration of contact details in the NRC for minors is conducted similarly to adults, through the NRC’s electronic application using TAXISnet codes and confirmation of the mobile phone by a banking institution or a mobile telephony service provider.

If confirmation of the mobile phone cannot be achieved through a banking institution or a mobile telephony service provider, the minor’s mobile phone number registration in the NRC can be done at a CSC or a paid consular authority upon the personal presence of both the minor and their custodian with their identification documents and the mobile phone.

Yes, the ability to register contact details is also provided to residents abroad at emep.gov.gr.
